I don't know about you but I go through diaper bags fast, I believe I went through 3 or 4 with my first. After I had my second I needed a new bag and I wanted it to be cute. Call me cheap but I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for a bag. I saw a really cute diaper bag a mom was carrying so I asked where she got it and she told me she made it. She gave me the blog address for the tutorial she used. I didn't end up using this tutorial (It is really cute; however I like having lots of outside pockets). I looked and looked for just the right material I wanted to use. I ended up using the same material this mom used for the exterior of her bag. I then decided to use the scraps and make a coordinating wipes case. And found some other fun material to make a cute changing pad. The titles underneath are all links to the wonderful tutorials I used.

Sewing Confidence
I love sharing the projects I have done with others for one reason. I am always looking for ideas of things to make and stumbling on fun projects that others have made. So if I can share with just one person an idea that they might want to create then I am okay with that! That is why I created this blog.
From the time I was a young girl my mom tried to teach me to sew, I never thought I was very good so I didn't try much more than a straight stitch once in a blue moon. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my second child that I decided to really put my sewing machine to work. With the help of a good friend and of course of a talented mom out in blog land, I created a pattern and made my first skirt.
It is a maternity skirt (inexpensive maternity skirts are so hard to find). I didn't follow all of the instructions from SeeMommySew but this is where I got my inspiration. Making this skirt gave me the confidence I needed to move on to making other projects.
